The girl behind the blog: 

Hello!  Allow me to introduce myself ... my name is Alison (as you can tell by the blog title) and again as you may already know I love all things related to beauty, lifestyle and DIY!

I wanted to start blogging so I could share my love of all these things.  

I could talk about makeup and skincare items forever and I have a serious shopping problem for this stuff!  

I wanted to start blogging so I could share my love of products with other people who may also enjoy it!  There is nothing more satisfying to me than introducing someone to a new product and them loving it!

I consider "lifestyle" to be the following all in one: cooking, baking, organizing, fashion, home decor ... and anything else related to my life in general! 

I'm sorry to my beauty products but my other true love is anything DIY!  My family has been calling me "Martha Stewart" for as long as I can remember ... I have always loved crafting and making things on my own.  I've done everything from sewing, painting and refinishing furniture,  card making, scrapbooking, jewelry making, etc, etc, etc .... I could go on and on.  If I can find a way to make anything myself - I will do it! I love the satisfaction of knowing I made it myself, and spending less money is always great (so I can spend more on makeup! haha!)   

  

Finally ...

I love my family and friends more than anything and I would do anything for them.  As much as I love the above things I have mentioned - the people in my life are what are really important and mean the most to me.  Life is short and so precious so I truly value all of my relationships.  I am known to be a bit of a crazy cat and dog lady and love my cat Max and dog Ivy more than I could even describe! 

... And last but certainly not least I am beyond happily married to the man of my dreams pictured above and have to thank him for all of the support in finally launching this blog!
